Under his leadership, Universatech has grown from a small venture to a trusted partner in various sectors, including residential, commercial, healthcare, and more. Farhad’s legacy of excellence, integrity, and industry expertise continues to shape Universatech’s core values, guiding every project we undertake. His passion for quality and his unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction will forever remain at the heart of our operations.
Siavash Vojdani
President
Sia serves as the President of Universatech Electric, a company that has been a significant part of his life. From an early age, Sia worked alongside his father, Farhad, on weekends and school breaks, gaining hands-on experience in the technical and operational aspects of the business. This early exposure laid the foundation for his deep understanding of the industry.
After graduating from the University of Georgia in 2003, Sia officially joined the company. He obtained his Unrestricted Master’s Electrical Contractor Licensure for the State of Georgia in 2006 and earned his Master of Business Administration degree from Georgia State University in 2012.
Under Sia’s leadership, Universatech Electric has grown five-fold, with a strong emphasis on efficiency and maintaining the highest standards of quality. His innovative approach, including value-engineering practices, design-build strategies, and close collaboration with clients, has resulted in significant cost savings without compromising on excellence.
When he’s not leading the company, Sia enjoys cycling, watching sports, and cheering for the Georgia Bulldogs. He cherishes time spent with his wife, Cara, their three children—Anisa, Ellis, and Naomi—and their dog, Johnny Cash.
Sholeh Vojdani
Office Manager
Sholeh has been a cornerstone of Universatech Electrical & Remodeling Company, Inc. since its inception in April 1988. As the Office Manager, she has worn many hats over the years, playing an integral role in the company’s success. With over three decades of experience in managing the financial operations of the business, Sholeh ensures smooth daily operations while contributing to the company’s growth and stability.
Her dedication and hard work have made her a trusted and invaluable member of the team. Outside of work, Sholeh enjoys spending quality time with her two sons and cherishing moments with her granddaughter, Ella.
Akwanza Mangum
Purchasing Manager
Akwanza brings over 25 years of leadership experience across diverse industries, including hospitality, electrical, construction, and medical devices. Originally from Detroit, Michigan, he relocated to Georgia in 1998 and has since made a significant impact at Universatech.
In his role as Purchasing Manager, Akwanza leverages his vast professional background to oversee purchasing and fleet management while also contributing to various other areas of the business. His primary focus is driving profitability while ensuring that Universatech continues to deliver exceptional service and high-quality results.
Akwanza is deeply committed to service through education, guidance, encouragement, and excellence. He is passionate about supporting his team and clients, fostering an environment of growth and success. Outside of work, Akwanza enjoys spending time with his family and cycling during his free time.
Amir Asnad
Field Operations Manager
With over a decade of experience in the electrical industry, Amir has been a vital part of Universatech Electrical. As Field Operations Manager, he is responsible for overseeing the daily scheduling of the field workforce, ensuring that each project and service call is properly staffed and progressing smoothly.
Amir’s career began in the field, where he managed both commercial and residential projects, as well as service calls. His hands-on experience as a technician makes him an invaluable resource for the team, providing guidance and expertise to tackle projects of all sizes and complexities.
Outside of work, Amir enjoys traveling and cherishing time with his wife and two children.
